Slayer Enhancement by Gyb
I've been beating my head into a wall lately trying to decide what ingots to imbue into the magic weapons I'm finding, so I finally decided to buckle down and make a chart. For slayer weapons the choice of ingot should be fairly easy, since you want to match up the lowest resist for the creature the weapon is alligned against.
Disclaimer #1: I got all my information about monster resist levels from the UO.com playguide; if any of their posted information is wrong, then it is wrong here too.
Disclaimer #2: Some of my ingot choices are subjective; if a monster was equally weak against fire and something else, I always picked bronze ingots for fire.
Disclaimer #3: I didn't pick anything for Repond, Elemental, and Reptile, because there are just too many creatures within those categories to have one best recommendation. I say either just leave those weapons physical or go with Valorite (which gives a little bit of everything).
Disclaimer #4: There are individual creatures that break my recommendations, mostly things like Frost Spiders, Frost Trolls, Lava Snakes, and any other thing were it is clearly going to be best to use the opposite element. So while snakes in general are lowest to Energy, a Lava Snake is (as you would expect) lowest against cold. Another example is a Balron - Balrons have 100% poison resist, whereas poison is the lowest resist for a regular demon. If you will never melee a balron, verite is the best choice for Demon Slayers. If you will melee a balron, Agapite is a better choice.
Slayer Type Lowest Resist Enhance With
Air Elemental Poison/Cold Verite
Arachnid Slayer Fire Bronze
Blood Elemental Fire Bronze
Daemon Slayer Poison (1), C/E (2) Verite/Agapite
Dragon Slayer Poison (1), Cold (2) Verite
Earth Elemental Fire/Cold Bronze
Elemental Slayer ? ?
Fire Elemental Cold (1), E/P (2) Agapite
Gargoyle Slayer Energy Copper
Lizardman Slayer Energy (1), F/C (2) Agapite
Ogre Slayer Fire Bronze
Ophidian Slayer Fire Bronze
Orc Slayer Poison (1), Cold (2) Verite
Poison Elemental Fire/Cold Bronze
Repond Slayer ? ?
Reptile Slayer ? ?
Scorpion Slayer Fire Bronze
Snake Slayer Energy Agapite
Snow Elemental Fire Bronze
Spider Slayer Fire/Energy Bronze
Terathan Slayer Fire Bronze
Troll Slayer Energy/Poison Verite
Undead Slayer Fire Bronze
Water Elemental Energy Copper
If "Lowest Resist" is listed as */*, then the two resists are equally low.
If "Lowest Resist" is listed as *(1), *(2), then the first is the lowest but the second is almost as low.
All moster resists actually spawn within a range, so individual monsters might have slightly different lowest resists than what is listed here.
Note: if the weapon is really heavy (like a lance, warhammer, etc.) you may be better off enhancing with gold. Gold gives lower requirements, as well as +40 luck. Also maybe for the repond, elemental, and reptilian ones something generic like gold is a better choice (or dull copper, that adds lower requirements and higher durability).

Version 1.0: -Initial Draft.
Version 1.1: -Corrected Air Elemental ore type.
