01/14/2002- UOPG is changing the way we present our Bug Awareness page.
We will start listing what will get you banned, and what won't. If it will get you banned, you will *not* find a description of the method involved. I will add more to this page as I become aware of them. UOPG is providing this information as a service to the UO Community in providing an additional knowledge base and to avoid confusion as to what will and will not get you banned.

Note: This list may change at a moment's notice. All bannable offenses are judged by OSI as said offenses and are at their discretion to change at their choosing. All bugs/exploits are checked with OSI first before posting here.

What will *NOT* get you banned:
-Animal Lore and -Musicianship skill gain tricks.
-Fast Casting.

What *WILL* get you banned:
-Using illegal 3rd party applications. Any not listed here, will get you banned if you are caught using them.
-EQ Scroll Method and the like. Note: Any skill gain method that requires a resource be used, and you gain skill without burning resources, is considered an exploit and bannable.
-Duping.
-House Break-in Bugs.
-The Paralyze Field/Resist trick.
-Luring monsters onto someone in Trammel. You can do that all day in Felucca.
-Polymorph/Slayer Weapon exploit. (OSI has changed their mind on this one a couple of times.
-Smelting BODs.
-Not getting guardwhacked when looting. (I know it sounds funny, but that's what OSI says)
-Using objects to block monsters.

Other:

Stealing blessed items:
There's currently an exploit that allows players to steal blessed items from you. Incase you don't know, blessed items are like newbie items - they can't be stolen or looted. My best advice is to not use any blessed items until the bug is fixed.

From Chopper himself:

1) Do not cast archprotect on anyone in town that asks you to do so.
2) If when selling a house the buyer asks you to redo the transfer the house option when a window is already open DO NOT DO SO!
3) Don't do any trades involving a pack horse.
4) If you notice magic-casting monsters dumping their mana on you at an alarming rate, recall out of there.
